David Booth, Sales Consultant at Nugent Santé put together a team of golfing experts to take part in the 2018 Neurocare charity golf event.
In its 13thyear, the event saw 48 teams battle it out to become champions at the Hallamshire golf day, whilst being treated to refreshments and goodies along the way.
The Nugent Santé team did themselves proud coming in 4thplace with a very respectable 88 points.
David Booth commented, “We’re thrilled to be involved in such a worthwhile event. It has proved so popular amongst a range of businesses in Sheffield and last year raised an astounding £26,000 for Neurocare, and we’re hoping to achieve a similar amount this year.”
Following the event, the team were awarded a memento for their efforts and were able to relax and enjoy a delicious buffet.
Neurocare is a charity that raises money for the Neurosciences and Neurology departments at a number of Sheffield Hospitals. To date they have raised significant funds to buy equipment and support research to save and improve the lives of patients with a range of debilitating or potentially fatal neurological conditions.
