Nugent Santé is thrilled to be a patron of the NW Lancashire Chamber of Commerce’s Global Membership Programme.
The programme is aimed at Chamber members and focuses on helping exporters grow their business internationally whether they are exporting for the first time or have been in the global arena for some time.
The Chamber of Commerce’s Global Membership Programme will provide specialist documentation support, legal contract review services, market selection services and access to an advice hub to help exporters tap into global opportunities.
International Private Medical Insurance (IPMI) is a key health insurance product for Nugent Santé and the Global Membership Programme dovetails perfectly into this.
Paul Nugent, Managing Director of Nugent Santé commented, “With UK exports continuing to expand this will entail more and more employees travelling or living abroad. What employers don’t realise is that standard travel insurance doesn’t protect their employees whilst they’re abroad in the same way that IPMI does. An IPMI policy ensures a company is fulfilling its duty of care to its staff and can often provide many additional benefits such ascover for chronic conditions, health screening, maternity and emergency evacuation and repatriation.”
In certain countries private health insurance is required by law and the law can be complex and vary considerably in different countries, especially across Asia and the Middle East. With more organisations looking at global markets with Britain’s exit from the European Union, this becomes even more critical.
Those who join the Global Membership Programme will have direct access to valuable advice and support from the expert team at Nugent Santé who have exceptionally strong links with leading international insurance providers, most of whom have global offices to cover the needs of clients wherever in the world their employees may be.
